Resolved unable to open a recovered ppt slide deck

Long story short
I have recovered 12 ppt slide decks from my flash drive using Active Undelete Professional 7 software. All the recovered slide decks open but the one I need.
I am getting the error message:
PPT can't read the outline from __the location of the file. No text converter is installed for this file type.
11 freaking slide decks open but the ONE I desperately need to open.

ANY IDEAS?!

Thanks for the recommendations.
ALAS I had to redo the whole thing.
Apparently it has something to do with working off a flash drive.
So - I will try not to do that again.
