Unable to install Netscape 7

Hello,

Last night, I downloaded Netscape 7 and tried to install it in my computer but I couldn't. I reach as far as the 'install' stage but then after that, I get this message:

Setup has encountered a network problem and has paused the download. If you have just lost your network connection, please click resume once your network has been re-established.

I don't really understand what this means. Are they referring to my internet connection? If so, I'm on cable...

Could anyone enlighten me on what could possibly have gone wrong?

 

It sounds like you are using the online install. Since you are on cable, you should be able to download the full installer (30mb) in a matter of minutes and install locally.

Otherwise you can give the online installer a try again, and hope that it works.

I did download it and it was a local install. That's why I'm confused as to why I get that message.

Oops! I just figured out what you meant and I went back to their download page.

Umm... duh? lol

Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll be going now and try to do that install.
