Hello, when I try to install/update JAVA I get the following error:
lib\jsse.jar: Old file not found. However a file with same name was found. No update was done since the file content don't match.

    Please help.

How are you trying to update it? Thru the program itself or from a notice about an update. Go to Add/Remove programs in the control panel and remove all but the newest version. Then go to http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp and download this. If that don't work, you can install a program called Revo Uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html Do the one on the left (1.93). Do a deep clean of Java from there and then try downloading Java again.

Please go to User CP and fill out your system details and be sure to save it. Makes it easier for us to help you with problems knowing what version of Windows and other things you have.

Are you trying to do 7.2 which is still in Beta?

Hey Bill, sorry I was trying to install 64bit where I should have installed 32bit. I did that & installation went fine. Thanks for the help.

I was just fixing to ask which one you had. Had a brain failure on the 32 or 64 bit thing. Did you look in your Add/Remove and make sure you only had the latest version? All the others are "usually" uninstalled by the next version. Seen this not happen before. You only need the latest version.

You can now mark this as Resolved.
