Unable to download and instal updates for windows SP2

    I have problem trying to download and instal updates for my windowsSP2. I have even disable my firewalls and anti-virus setting.

    What happens/doesn't happen when you try? Do you get an error messages with important looking error codes that can be googled?

    Hi baffoe williams. Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Since you have SP2 installed instead of downloading windows updates for SP2 try installing Windows XP Service Pack 3. If SP3 doesn't install and you get an error message let me know.
