I have installed a second XP Professional ( shortened version) on my Disc C. I tried to delete it as adviced in your forum But when I try to d3lete it message comes as Cannot delete flash.ocx: Access denied. Make sure the disc is not full or write protected and the file is not currently on use. None of these reasons are true. How can I delete the second OS. This OS is shown as windows.0 on windows explorer. Please advice

Boot to the Recovery Console and run the command rd C:\windows.0

If the command refuses because the directory isn't empty, run del /f C:\windows.0\*.* and then try the rd command again.

I'm unsure if the Recovery Console del command will accept a wild card command so you may have to just delete the single file that is hanging you up, flash.ocx.

It would all be so much easier if you had a BartPE CD. ;)
