I am trying to delete a folder with sub-folders and files, and I get the following message:-

"This is no longer located in C:\ Verify the items location and try again. "

I have tried everything I know to delete these and certainly would appreciate any help in doing this.

    Many Thanks.

It sounds like you're trying to delete a folder on the desktop that is really a short cut to folders elseswhere....And that the main folder is already gone.

    Thank you for the reply.

The item I am trying to delete is not on the desktop, it is a folder, with 2 sub-folders on 'C' drive.

When I click on the lowest level folder to see what files it contains I get a message that this refers to a location that is unavailable.

Have you rebooted since starting this adventure?

Is there a possibility that the folder you mentioned was in another location or on another drive?
