    I need some help...

Yesterday for no apparent reason, I was suddenly unable to connect to the internet. My house is networked via cable modem to hub to 5 computers (ethernet). At my desk I have two computers (desktop and laptop), one which connects (the one I'm on now) and the laptop, which does not.

I have tried "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew" numerous times and even made sure I was clean by running "ipconfig /flushdns ", but to no avail. I have turned off my firewall (Zonealarm Pro) and diabled SP2 and again, no go. Finally in frustration, I uninstalled SP2 and still no connection.

I am now getting a locked dns and an error relating to spoolsv.exe and ntdll.dll errors.

Any suggestions on what to do?

Which hub do you use? Linksys, Belkin, Netgear,...?

IF you have Cable or DSL Internet, I think you would be far better off to use an eight port Router.

Or a combination of the HUB and a Modem.

I believe a Switch would be better than a Hub. The Router has a a 4/8 port switch built in.

BlackOps - does This look sorta like your problem? If so, the fix on there might help and can't hurt.
