Unable to connect to preferred wireless network (secured network)

    Windows will not connect me to my preferred wireless network(LINKSYS)..I want a secured network..When I complete the set up with a network key etc Windows gives me an error message; "Unable to connect to preferred wireless network.. new error message. Has never happened before..I can connect to an unsecure sight but not secure..

    Have u tried and manually configure the wireless network with the SSID and other encryption settings on ur windows system....
