I have a two PC's networked(using a Hub) my host computer for ICS is xp pro and the client is win2000pro(which I just upgraded from win98se). I upgraded to win2000pr last night and everything was smooth it was able to find the connection and connect to the internet, this morning when turned it on the win2000pro machine cannot find server, I configured in many ways and no luck(reinstalled NIC, checked settings million times cannot find anything wrong). The xp pro machine which connects directly to the Modem is fine and can connect. The xp pro machine gives me system errors relating IP conflicts.
I wanted to know how I can remove the ICS from the XP Pro machine that is connected to the modem, so I can maybe try third party software for internet sharing. And is there a way for me to delete win2000pro or get back to my old OS win98se?

    Thanks in Advance!

First take a couple of minutes to try and figure out what is wrong.

On each machine, do the following and copy the contents of each text file and post the info here.

    start~run~cmd
ipconfig /all > c:\host.txt (on the XP PC)
    ipconfig /all > c:\client.txt (on the 2K PC)

And please, do not mask any addresses or other information. Leave everything just as it is in the text file. Just copy then paste here.
