I use internet explorer, but I've found I can't get access to my netscape email account. Netscapes home page opens, I click on the "mail" icon, enter my name & password, but I get one of two things:
    1. It takes me to a page that says "you have successfully logged out, you will have to log on again to access your email ".
    2. It acts as if the page is opening, but won't go anywhere. It's as if the page opens, but all that is there is my email account name and a blank space wehre I had previously typed my password. No matter how many times I enter the password, it just flips, then I'm back at the same screen again.

Any ideas on what could be wrong? I had some business mail to print out from this account and was able to go to the library where I could get access to it. I don't know what could have happened as I have always used IE in the past.

    Thanks for the help.

Do you have cookies enabled? This would be my first guess. I have a Netscape email account and if I disable cookies I get the exact same kind of behavior.

I got your PM. Cookies are enabled as I understand. Guess the next thing I would try would be deleting the cookies and then give it a try. It's possible one of them is corrupt and causing problems. Also, while your at it probably delete your temporay internet files. Post back if this doesn't do it. I could be way off base here but it's been my experience that when I've got
caught in a loop like the one you described it's nearly always had something to do with cookies. That or sometimes the wrong password. They're case sensitive and I've had it happen where I accidently hit the cap lock key and don't notice it. If you do something like that the password will be wrong unless you set a password with all caps. Doubt that that's your problem though. Just thought I'd throw it out there. I'll see what else I can come up with. Anybody else got any ideas?

I went to the Netscape sign on page and clicked on the help link. It sounds like it's possible for this type of thing to happen if you have the time zone set incorrectly for your location. You can read about it here . Something to check anyway.
