    Hey everyone,

I'm not too sure if I've posted this question to the right forum but I'll ask anyway.

My Vista PC was upgraded to Windows 7 recently and ever since then, I am unable to rip CD to my external hard drive. I use Windows Media Player to rip my CDs; whenever I attempt to select the specific folder on my external hard drive for where I want my ripped CDs to be stored, the following error message is displayed:

"The selected folder is not available. Verify that you have the correct permissions to add files to the folder. "

Any ideas why I am getting this message?
