I don't know if anybody can help or has any solutions, because my PC is maybe simply just at it's end of life! and it's annoying, I am a student and I absolutely need it!

    symptoms:

-doesn't reconize anything with the USB ports (printer, USB key) I've tried to reinstall the printer, it doesn't reconize it anymore. I tried reinstalling the "USB Bus Peripherique" and it just says failed. For a couple of days it worked, but each time I put my PC bach on, I had to reinstall the USB Bus...

-sound doesn't work anymore (and it isn't due to the speakers as I checked them and they work perfectly)

-when my computer is starting, there is a message that says "low memory, might not be able to complete "... when in fact my C disk has 1/3 free and my D disk has 12 Go out of 13 Go free!

    thanks for you help!!!!

hello windux, tks for you reply

I've been having trouble with the memory for about 2 years but with the USB devices since 3 weeks (all at the same time)... a friend gave me a shinux program to test if it was the system that had the problem or simply the USB material. well the computer didn't even reconize the program. there must be a solution somehow...

First thing i would try is re-installing the motherboard driver package. Do so from the lastest available version on the web site of the manufacturer of you motherboard. Most motherboard will have a visible model name and brand on the board.

Also a re-install of Windows might help if it gets too hard.

You should address your memory problem first though and it sounds like you have faulty or mismatched RAM.

I plugged in my new camera into the computer's usb device and it worked. The next thing I tried was my USB key, and it worked as well. Then my speakers apparently do as well!

There is just the printer USB link that doesn't seem to match anymore.

But I think this is just so weird. Is it that my PC is on the blink and sometimes will work and sometimes not??
