Has anyone any ideas or info on how to use your keyboard to type characters in Egyptian, Arabic, Chinese etc.

Can it be set up from Win98 or is additional software required.

    Thanx
    Dennis

There are some SW out there that will allow you to add the odd unusual ASCII character to a text, but if you want to be able to write a letter in Egyptian, Chinese, Arabic etc, I would think you will need to buy PCs which are dedicated to each language.
When you see eg mixed cyrillic text and roman on a page,
one or the other has not been typed but is an inserted image file.
    regards
