The pictures on this site are two side by side. My computer shows them too big to view both at the same time without sliding them left and right. Is there a way to set the computer to show both without having to do the sliding?
They are on this site: http://home.earthlink.net/~deason52

Right click on a blank spot on your desktop and choose properties. Click on the settings tab and where it says screen area slide the slider to the right. If it is set for 640x480 try 800x600 or 1024x768. You can go higher if your video card and your monitor both support it. The higher you set the resolution the smaller things will be so you'll have to decide which setting is comfortable for you.

Give it a little time and you'll get used to it. Next thing you know you probably won't like it the way it was. It saves a lot of scrolling plus you get the added benefit of the extra destop space (if you have a lot of shortcuts anyway).

    Sidenote...

Molehill, in addition to changing the resolution, why not tweak it..
While you have properties for the desktop up on your desktop, check the Appearance Tab
Then In Windows 95 -> ME Down below you have a popup box,
In Windows XP you have to click on Advanced Properties lower right corner.
Now then from here they are both configured the same, click on the drop down bar lower mid left side, then start at 3d image, scroll down on each one, each one that permits fonts, you can change forground color, background color, font type, font size, font attributes. Importantly size.

Now remember how you got to that screen.

On the Display Properties box, click on Settings tab.
In this pop up box, looking for a small box that say's Advanced
    Click on it.
Here change your DPI setting default larger is 125%.
This at 1024x768 pixels for your monitor screen returns all fonts and icons back to its normal size, but leaves the resolution at 1024x768. Which permits you to view those images without having to scroll left and right.
You will have to reboot after closing these windows, then when you come back up, go back into properties and adjust the windows default settings to your custom desires... ENJOY
