My system started crashing hard. I had to try to repair Windows. It wouldn't work. I reinstalled a second Windows next to the old one on C. This way I was able to recover my docs etc. Seems to be working fine. I'm wondering about just deleting the old Windows folder. What options do I have to delete any folders and so on?

If you have plenty of hard drive space, I'd leave it as is. In theory you should be able to delete the old folder. On the other hand, deleteing it could kill the pc. When in doubt - backup your important data to another drive.
