    Hey guys,

I'm recently getting restarts on my computer RIGHT after Windows finishes logging on. I never get restarts when I'm actually in Windows. I got WINXP Media 2005. It doesn't happen everytime i try to start my PC but i would say 40% of the time. And it only happens on my very first start, if i want to restart the computer it doesn't happen either.

I took a look at event view and it gave me two erros at the exact time that i had my restart:

One it says that the source is ntfs, event id 55, category disk and description: The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

The system usually runs chkdsk when i start my PC, mostly when i get my random restarts.

    -----------
Other error that i got at the same time my ramdom restart happened:

    Error code 1000000a, parameter1 94baca94, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 8051535a.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

    SYSTEM ERROR
    CATEGORY (102)
    EVENT ID 1003

Anybody have any idea what might be happening. Thanks.

Couple of possibilities - problem with the hard disk or with ram (Error code 1000000a)

    Run chkdsk ....

Start > Run > type in chkdsk /r > OK and accept option to run at next boot.

Download Memtest and/or Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and stress the memory. Would also be a good idea to remove and reseat the RAM.
