I've been doing some reading about the DUN connections for AOL---and am really used to IE's connection showing me the 2 little monitors down in the tray --so that if I don't have a fast enough connection ---I can simply disconnect and try again . But with AOL---unless I'm watching when it connects ---I miss the connection speed and that kinda ***** ----Does anyone have a clue on the registry tweak for this !!!

Seems like if your Right click on the AOL thingie in the systray you have a configuration type option that will show the connection rate.

Well ---I'm not sure I'm familiar with a technical term such as
( AOL Thingy ) , But if your refering to aol being in my tray ---I do not have this computer set up that way ---and would if it is possible --like to be able to have the actual Dial up ( Thingy ) monitor to be placed in my tray !!! Thanks for the tech lesson and the reply tho !!!!

Don't think it is possible with Aol's dial up adapter and their DUN.

    Ok ---Thanks man !!

Thabks ----thats the impression that I'm getting too. But I'm still gonna keep digging. I figure that if there is a string to get the tray Dial up adapter to show up for IE, Then I should be able to add one for aol's adapter also ----I could be wrong ---but I'm gonna go until I figure out otherwise . ----Thanks .
