I have an ATI 7500 with tv-out, but it doesn't recognize that there is a tv attached to my computer. I've even spent a week with customer service with Dell, to know avail. Now, to make things worse, I'm trying to export video from Adobe premiere and I can't. If the firewire is connected to the computer, the video plays back stuttered without sound. Premiere doesn't seem to have a fix to the problem.

Anyone else know anything to help me with either of these related issues.

How are you connecting to the TV, is it a S-VHS or RCA jack on the computer?
And are you using some kind of adapter on the TV side, or do you have a S-VHS or RCA connection for Input on the TV?

Well, I've got the tv connected through the s-video tv-out ... I've got the video(rca) wire connected to it. On my old Dells it worked fine. So I know its not the cables or the tv. I've also tried it on other computers and got nothing.

As for the vido issue ... well, that's firewire...
