TV-Out problem with radeon mobility 9000

    I connected all the cables but the video card didn't recognize the TV. It's a plain Sony Trinitron. The display option does not let me choose TV as my display. :confused: I'm sure this video card supports TV-out. What can I do?

    The best place to find instructions on setting up a TV (as a second monitor) is at the graphics card manufacturer's website (I have found them at ATI, nVidia and Matrox and those at Matrox are reasonably generalised). Win XP, I think, has a TV setup "wizard "... look in Help and Support.

    Be careful not to set the resolution too high, TV's do not have as much resolution capability as monitors. Start low and increase the resolution step-wise.
