I have a CD-RW I use for backing up my data using NTI Backup Now. Everytime I put this CD into the burner XP opens an Explorer window showing the file(s) on the CD. Is there a way I can effectively tell XP to "Do Nothing" when this CD is inserted in the drive?

    Thanks.

In My Computer right click on your CDRW drive>properties>autoplay. In the box that shows the different cd types select mixed content. Then, tick the circle next to "select an action to perform" and underneath that select "take no action" and click apply. Don't know if a reboot is needed or not for it to take effect.
