    I have Windows XP Pro.

I am trying to transfer something and it just sits in initializing and never transfers. It’s not the Internet connection. I also checked the firewall and it’s not that. Anybody have any ideas what could be killing this on my computer? Is there something that I should look for.

I downloaded a log of what is going on in this process and the log says...

EappMain.exe:848 QUERY INFORMATION C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet7_22.dll PATH NOT FOUND Attributes: Error
EappMain.exe:848 QUERY INFORMATION C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet7_22.dll PATH NOT FOUND Attributes: Error

    Thanks!

    Hello gobears20,

Did you go thru any malware removal procedure recently? These two lines suggest you've had or have malware.

EappMain.exe:848 QUERY INFORMATION C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet7_22.dll PATH NOT FOUND Attributes: Error
EappMain.exe:848 QUERY INFORMATION C:\Program Files\NewDotNet\newdotnet7_22.dll PATH NOT FOUND Attributes: Error

NewDotNet is a known purveyor of malware.

Read this thread and post a HJT log - instructions in post #4

    http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=37074

When you post the log, I or another Mod will move your thread to the malware removal section.

    Regards - Charles
