I was trying to remove Media palyer from XP , I did it in the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs , after removing I the media player was still on the computer even it was like "Removed" , later on I deleted the directory
Program files\windows Media Player & I try to install an older version of media palyer , I received a massgae that a newer version of Media player is alredy installed on my computer , I assume it's one of the wonders of XP , I m looking for advice how to solve this problem.

All started when I was trying to connect to a place with camera which I was doing the same in the past & I think since the time I installed Media Player 10 the problem started , I would be more than happy to get reed completly of Media player if there is a replacment.

    Thanks

    Hi Blumash,

Glad you're problem sorted. There's been a spate of WMP problems lately, don't know whether coincidence or not.

    Regards - Charles
