Trying to install Norton Systemworks 2002 Pro edition!

I uninstalled all components of Norton Systemworks 2000 and have been trying to install Norton Systemworks 2002 Pro. I insert my CD into the drive which brings up an on-screen window with the title Norton Systemworks 2002 Pro. The 1st item under this title is "Install Norton Systemworks 2002 Pro. When I click on it I get the next window with two options: Modify NSW2002 or unstall NSW2002. Those are the only options. I click on "modify > next and it runs a short program and returns with a window saying "NSW2002 has been modified. Restart you computer,etc." After rebooting, Norton is still not installed. Not listed under programs, not in Add/Remove list. I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas? Thank you. Bobby

 

As I remember, NSW 2002 Pro IS kinda weird for installation. At the screen that lists all the included programs, you have to click on the ones you want and x out the ones you don't want.

Bobby - you might try the uninstall again using symclean.exe from the Symantec site. It will remove any traces of the 2000 load.
