Hi. Folks, I wish to increase RAM on a Packardbell I Extreme 6080 computer which has a Palomar motherboard. I need to identify the RAM already installed. Store staff cannot help and Packardbell don't reply. In the search facility I found one program which has closed down. I would appreciate any help in finding the information I need. Regards, William.

Download and run Belarc Advisor. It should be able to give you enough information about the RAM modules.

Hello Miz, Many thanks for your reply. Under 'Memory Modules' in Belarc Advisor the only info is that there are 4 slots,2 being empty. I would like to have a description of which cards to purchase if that is possible. Regards, William.

    williamdp: Click on this link

    http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/page2.html

and scroll about half-way down to the Everest 2.2 section. Download and install the free Everest v2.2.0 file. The Motherboard/SPD/Memory Module Properties section will tell you everything you'd want to know about your memory chips except whether the person who packed them was righthanded or lefthanded.

    Good luck.

Hello Bobbo, Many thanks. I got the information I wanted. I think the guy who packed them used both hands. You have done your good deed for the day. You can now relax. Cheers, Willam.
