I managed to install wpwin12 on my 3 week old windows 10 machine. It will load but as soon as I try to save a file name to create a document a pop up window informs me wp12 needs to close and it summarily disappears? Wha? Windows 10 claims it's compatible, but clearly my installation is bogus in some way. Any ideas?

Uninstall and reinstall may work. Maybe a hiccup when you installed WP. Just a guess here.

It appears from Googling that if you have WordPerfect in OEM version - it will not install and work if you transfer to another comp.
All reviews and comments suggest a full Retail version may be required. Those who have installed Retail version report it works OK on Windows 10. Neil.

    WordPerfect on Windows 10

suggestion that oem version of wp12 might not work if transferred to different machine spurred memory so found wp10 version, not oem apparently, installed that version and now it's working... now if I could just get the printer to work I'd be less frustrated with staying with microsoft... the blame with the printer seems to be lack of drivers from printer mfg dell, so I'll have to get a new printer to have a working computer... thanks for the prompt answers to my problem

Have you run Troubleshooting in W10 to see if that will pinpoint your printer driver problem?
Are Dell (part-owned by MS) working on supplying drivers? Neil.
