Trying to find an old pc game

I'm not sure when the game came out, but it worked on window 95 and 98. The screen looks similar to the game Doom, as in it was a first person game with all information at the bottom (like health and such). But instead of guns you used medieval weapons like a dagger, sword, and bow. All you could see of the person was his arm and the weapon. It was pretty gory and near the beginning you enter this water area and fight stuff and you can get a new weapon there. I think the game title was in red with spiky script, but I could be wrong.

Oh, and you had a map and all that. in another part of the game there is lava and you need a potion to go through it without getting hurt.

 

The only game I can think of with Red and Spiky letters is Wolfenstein 3d. What about Duke Nukem, Quake, and Unreal Tournament with Chaotic Dreams mutator?
