I wonder if you can help.
I have a lot of trouble trying to burn CDROM's and wonder if the way it is connected is causing the problem. I have a Gigabyte GA-7VTX motherboard with IDE1 solely connected to my hardrive, a 40GB 7200 rpm Seagate. IDE2 is connected to my CDROM reader/burner AOPEN CRW1232PRO and also sharing the same IDE2 is my BTC DVD player. Would this be causing problems in burning data CD's?. The CD burning software is NTI 2000. Is there a solution??

    Thanks for your help

Switch the DVD and CD-RW around on the 2nd IDE so that the DVD is Master and the CD-RW the slave. You would need to change the jumper settings on both accordingly.

This is how it is set up on my computer. The other thing you can do is to download a Trial copy of Nero Burning Rom from

    http://www.ahead.de

and try burning with that to see if the same problem occurs.
