Although we can access websites, we are having problems navigating within websites. For example, I can get into the mls.ca website but cannot actually view any listings. Also, can access the hotmail website but cannot get to my own email.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Candice

To try the easiest thing first, empty Internet Explorer's cache (assuming you're using IE). In IE, go to Tools>Internet Options>General tab and click the Delete Files button. In the dialog box that open, check the box for deleting offline content, click OK.

When it's finished, see if things are working.

If not, download and run "iefix.exe" from http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm. It's a sort of general purpose Internet Explorer fixer-upper. Can't hurt, might help.

If that didn't do it, go to http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/troub-10.html for other possible fixes.
