When attempting to engage the widows fax program in my Dell Latitude D-500 with Windows XP Home edition SP2, I went to the Control Panel Add and Remove Software" window and clicked on the "Add/Remove Windows Components." In the Windows Components Wizard Window, I checked the box next to "Fax Services."

I inserted the Operating Systems disc when asked and installed the Fax Services component.
The result is that I completely lost the MS Internet Exploring icons. When I installed IE using the same method I lost the ability to use the Fax services. I now have Fax Services and IE Icons back however I have lost the Accessories Calculator icon that I had on my Desktop. (I use the Calculator all the time.)

I am assuming that I am using the "Add/Remove Windows Components" incorrectly. I would appreciate all the assist I can get.
