    Hi:
I'm having trouble opening/browsing a certain directory in XP Frontpage. Everytime (well, 9 out of 10 times) I open the directory, Frontpage would crash before listing all of the contained files. There's nothing special in the directory, just .html, .shtml, and image files.

The problem would appear to be one/some of the files, since I tried copying the directory contents to a new directory, and same thing happens when attempting to open the later.

Does anyone have experience with Frontpage tripping up when opening certain files? In Win 98 I never had a problem with this.

    Thanks!

Not sure cause I never use front page anyway, but to determine if in fact FP is the culprit, access your ftp site using IE as such:

    ftp://Username:Password@domain.com

You can upload and download using IE's ftp client.

Just to update, I literally started selectively deleting each file to see which one was the culprit. Turned out to be a simple .htm page. My guess is, since it's sandwiched between a bunch of .shtml files, FP somehow tripped on this odd ball. Not sure, but the problem seem to be fixed.

    Thanks,
