I am really lost with this USB problem.

    I keep getting this error

A fatal eception OE has occurred at 0028:Co26A1B5 in vxd (06) 00005E1

Every time I try to reinstall the drivers. But after this happens the yellow splash is gone and replaces with t red X. But it tells me that everything is working fine. But it really is not. And when I restart the machine the yellow splash returns.

And when I check the USb in device manager it says
The NTKERN.VXD device loader for this device could not load the device driver code 02

Where can I find out what the error message mean and the code 02?

I am running windows 98 and the motherboard is a BX2000 with onboard USB.

Try this page. It gives the same error message that you are getting. Post back with the results.

Sorry tried that early this morning. After the new drivers were installed I checked in t he device manager and the USB Root Hub has a red X on it. But when I restarted the system it went back to the yellow splash with a ! in it and that same message that stated That the ntkern.vxd device loader for this device could no load the device drive Code (2).

Also I went searching for this ntkern.vxd and could not find it. But if refeard to its location as c:\windows\system32\driver\vmm32.vxd(ntkern.vxd) At least I thank that is the right location. At least I know the vmm32.vxd(ntkern.vxd) is right.
