I go into "my computer" and right click on the C: drive and I go to proprerties. Then I press "disk Cleanup ", a window comes up and says 'Calculating' and "Scanning: Compress old files ". this window stays up for hours, I mean 24 hours or more. Finally I just shut it down.
Here's my question: What can I configure or set to get these files deleted quicker from this function. Thanks much.

vvsjgal - Welcome to the Board :)

First thought here is to uncheck the option to 'Compress old files' - the degree of compression is minimal and not worth the time for the saving in disk space.
