Trouble copying sent messages to sent folder

Help -- everytime I send a message - it appears to be copying to sent folder and never does. How do I correct this? THanks in advance

If you use McAfee Spam Killer, that is known to cause the problem you are having.

Do you get an error, and if so can you post the error?
In the Mail account folder, delete the Sent.msf file
Don't delete the Sent file without the msf extension as it contains your mail

Have you tried resetting the preferences in:
Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings | Copies & Folders
Netscape 7.1 does not always retain a setting, and it is sometimes necessary to enable/disable the setting more than once. Or you might try changing the folder to something else for Sent messages, close Netscape/reopen, then change back to the Sent folder.
