I am using IE 5.0 on Windows NT. I connect via dial-up to my local ISP. Though the connection is slow (26.4-28.8) I manage to get by.
Lately though, I've been having difficulty in connecting to some sites. One of 2 things would happen. Either I could not find the site at all, and i would get the white screen which reads "The Page could not be displayed," or it comes up partially and stops. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?
My cache is empty, and is set to 80mb capacity.

    Good Article

Turns out, I found my answer on the first page of that article. I forgot about using AOL one time, while I was out of the office, and sure enough, when I went into properties of IE, I found that the box for "use a proxy server" was checked!!
    Success.....thanks!
