Norton detected and tried to delete the file without success. It is quarintined. But b4 I realized it was quartined, and it said it coouldn't get access, I took it upon myself to take the file to the tune up shredder. it' let me. now Norton stilkll says there's a file in quarantine that is called this trojan horse. Symantec says it's just a generic, hence just trojan horse. I ran live update again, and it said it needed to restart afterwards, so did, now running scan again. so far nothing. Do I still go thru safe mode and run the scan again? The file I deleted was cmd32.exe....did I ***** up? Do I need to replace that file? what next PLEEZE!

    Hello juey,

Bring up Norton main panel > Reports > View Quarantined Items.

Click on the file and look at where it was originally and post here. You can leave there or delete it.

I don't think you need to replace the file.

As for what's next, Noton seems to have done it's job and that should be the end.

    Regards - Charles
