troble removing adware.generic

    i use AVG anti-spyware, and it comes up with a spyware called adware.generic, probably what caused the ads and my recent freeze-up. i told it to qurentine/delte, and it just comes back up. please help. thanks

    Check for updates to AVG-AS and then run a full system scan in safe mode. Save the report, then post the contents of the log and a fresh HijackThis log.
