had a website, built with their software. all was fine (it is a school class assignment page for home work etc).
edited it this weekend and now it loads up and vanishes when it is finished loading.
    lyndac1027.tripod.com
all that shows up are the ads

    Hi chaosm,

I had no problem gettin' there and using site links:
    http://lyndac1027.tripod.com/index.html

    Ah ha...!!
I was using Firefox. I just tried IE and once pop up attempt occurred, complete site load up vanished and left just the ads. The Security bar was sitting there waiting for me to okay the popup, which I did temporarily. This allowed the page to complete load up. Check your bar.

    !!!Spoke to soon!!!
Darn! It worked the first time now I have your symptom and page disappears. I am left with ads. It still loads up in Firefox with no problem and will work in IE if I turn my security setting up to high.

The difference between the two, IE & Firefox, appears to be the two adds after the "School Fundraising Ad by Google ". If I had to guess, it's the placement of your page. The additional two adds placements look like they kick your page out of there.

As meager as it is, that's as far as I can help. I hope you can figure it out or wait for a member who understands such. I was merely trying to follow your link to see if loaded for me. HTML is a mystery to me. I hope all turns out well...

just know that there will be several 5th graders who will use this as an excuse to not do homework
anyone else with ideas, i'm listening.
it is a new behavior for that website!

    Hi chaosrn,

Work around is to put your site in the "restricted zone" of IE's security setting. Your page and links all work but Ads are blocked. Just tell the children and notify the parents, to use this procedure until you can figure out what the problem is.

    updated-----------
I just visited site again and was surprised to see that it loaded up. I did notice that the two ads that were problematic before are now loading on the bottom of the page rather than at the top. Did you fix this or did Lycos come to your rescue? Just curious. :)

    Hi chaosrn,

Thanks for the update. I'm glad Lycos support was so fast in resolving this issue for you. To funny though, as I read this, I can actually hear the kids booing.

    Your most welcome.
