Tried to delete email and now OE needs to close all the time!!!

I can not use my OE anymore. I tried to empty some emails that I didn't need anymore and now OE keeps trying to delete mail and then has a flaw and needs to close. Can anyone help me to find out what is wrong here?
I was wondering if I should uninstall it and then reinstall it again. Any suggestions would help me alot.
I also have Outlook 2000 and I can not send mail from that account and i could with OE so that is why I want OE back!

If there's nothing in the deleted items folder that you want to get back, try this. Do a search for deleted items.dbx and when you find it, delete it or rename it. Then try starting OE and see what happens. If OE works it'll recreate the deleted items.dbx file.
