transferring sbd's to a new 7.1 install

I'm trying to copy subfolders from an existing 1.4 mozilla installation (the mail folders were acrtually created with netscape 4.x) to Netscape 7.1. I can create subfolders inside my Netscape Profile but whenever I copy over subfolders, they are not recognized in the folder list. They seem to have to be created from within Netscape?

Can anyone tell me how to transfer messages and subfolders inside a sub-folder to a new instance of 7.1?

In order for sub-directories to be reconginzed there MUST be a parent file with the same name.

e.g.
If you have an "SBD" called Good Stuff and you want to copy it to another account - you must have a file called Good Stuff , without any extension, in the same directory.
Copy the parent file along with the SBD

SBD are subdirectories of an existing folder/file.
