Can a Works 2006 spreadsheet table be transferred to Excel 2007?

I would think so - can be done in earlier versions.

Just go to File Open in Excel 2007 and scroll down the Files of Type dropdown box until you find the Works extension.

Thanks. I'm about to install Excel and then we'll see what happens. This ribbon approach seems a bit daunting, but live and learn, I guess.

To confirm - I have successfully opened a Works 7.0 Spreadsheet in Excel 2007.

Although the file format .xlr is not listed in the Files of type dropdown box just highlighting the file > Open works. Excel opens the file in Compatability mode - can then save as Excel 2007 file if required.
