Not sure if this is the best forum for this post as although it related to hardware (HDD) it really is for the data contained on the HDD. If it would be better read elsewhere then please transfer it.

I have a Lenova notebook PC which came with a 120GB hard disk drive which container a hidden partition presumably containing all the files which were installed on the C: drive when first used. I believe that some of the applications are those special 'Lenova' applications. I know how to restore the notebook to 'factory setting' but I am wondering if it is possible to transfer the hidden partition to another hard drive as I am considering replacing the standard 120Gb HDD with a larger and faster one.
Please nore that the notebook does NOT have an inbuilt CD/DVD drive so I would have to use either an external optical drive or use higb capacity USB memory stick.

    Thanks

You can use any software that can save/restore partitions such as EASEUS Disk Copy.
