    Hello,
I have a new laptop with Vista Home Premium and I have tried to transfer zip, gz and xml files from my home XP computer via a wired network. All other files transfer fine just dragging and dropping, but everytime it encounters those three types of files a box pops up asking to retry, skip or cancel and won't tranfer these files. Can anybody tell me how to make this work. I am using regular explorer type windows and not easy transfer.
    Thanks for any help
    Gene

    Update,
Figured it out - had to enable sharing on the XP computer for specific folders containing the zip, gz & xml files and everything transferred perfectly :)
