TR\CryptXPACK.Gen and TR\Vundo.Gen

i keep getting warnings about these 2 trojans. i then downloaded avast and i also have avira. i dont know how to get rid of them and now my computer is really slow opening new windows and stuff like that.....please help me..ty steph

You should only have 1 active antivirus program onboard. I recommend you start by uninstalling 1 of them.

Download ComboFix by sUBs from here, saving the file to your desktop.

Please disable realtime protection applications as they sometime interfere with the tool. Check this link for your applicable programs.

• Close all open programs and windows
• Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
• It may reboot your computer and resume running when you logon. Wait for it to complete. When finished, it will open a log for you. Post that log and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

 

i know this may sound stupid but where do i disable realtime protection at and the second link you sent me to do click on them to do scan there two links

 

The second link is to a list of programs with realtime protection, and has instructions for how to disable them. Please check the list for programs that you have installed on your computer, such as Avast or Avira, then disable as outlined.

Please reread my post above, and use the first link I provided to download ComboFix.exe, then run it as instructed. You somehow instead downloaded and ran SDFix.
