If I hold my mouse over something in the tray, like the clock its little label thingy shows up behind the taskbar, thus keeping me from seeing it. Every once in a while, it'll show it in front, but most of the time, behind. I can never tell which way it's gonna be. How can I make it show stuff in front all the time?

This happens on my daughters puter too. I found that if I went into the properties of the taskbar (right click on taskbar and choose properties) and unchecked the line that says "keep the taskbar on top of other windows" , the problem went away. I could go back and recheck the line and things would stay the way they were supposed to. It's not really a fix but you can avoid having to reboot if it works for you.
