Toolbar thingy

    There is this object on my toolbar that hides the programs that are running. I have to click on it to see what is there. Does anyone know how I can rid myself of this? Thanks.

    PS. I have no idea where it came from.

    Right click on the taskbar, click properties, uncheck "hide inactive icons ".
