Thanks to the invaluable help from WindowsBBS, I have been able to get my newly built PC up and running with no further problems however, I have also loaded XP on my old PC (the two are networked) but, a minor annoying thing is that the taskbar/toolbar, the bit at the bottom of the screen seems to have grown in height. I used to be able to resize by dragging in 98SE but I can't seem to change it in XP. Does anyone know any way of working around this?

Just a thought is the task bar 'unlocked' before you try to adjust the size? Right click and unlock taskbar - then adjust, click on the very top of the taskbar- hold and drag it down. (lock when it is the correct size)

Hope this is all that is needed.
