Can anyone suggest a good method to stop, or filter, or somehow control the amount of spam that is received ?
If the ISP server does not filter, is there any type of hardware , or software that can filter before allowing it to enter Outlook Express ? Thank's.

I use Spam Sleuth from www.bluesquirrel.com. It's not free but it is available on a 60-day trial. I find it is very accurate and rarely makes mistakes. It sits between your mail server and your e-mail client and checks messages before passing them to your In box. It can also remove dangerous attachments and HTML scripts, Web bugs, etc.
