Some users of Windows 10 are reporting issues with KB3081424, released Wednesday. It downloads, reboot to install. Gets to 30% and reboots. Gets to 59% and reboots. Gets to 59% again and states something is wrong so uninstalling the update. Wait a few minutes and reboot. Windows 10 tries to install the update again, which means the process repeats over and over, continually rebooting and attempting to install. A google search on the KB number will guide you to multiple reports.

lj50, In W10 > click on Notifications Icon (in Systray near date/time) > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options > View your Update History.
antik, Cumulative Update KB3081424 installed on mine 7/08/15 no problems.
Funnily, my comp with Insider builds which received update #10240 has got a total of 28 updates as of midnight last night 12th. Aug. This comp has been working AOK without any problems since I installed the build #9841 to a new SSD.
Have you tried Ctrl + Alt + Delete or Esc key when you get a screen freeze? Neil.
