With all the continued hype about dumping IE because of growing security issues, Ive began to wonder if its time for me to make a change in browsers but would like some experienced feedback first.Iam generally satisfied with the IE browser and not really looking forward to whatever changes a different browser might bring.I like the MSN Messenger and Hotmail program,it serves my purpose well and I dont want to lose it.Iam running 98 SE,IE 6.0.2800,on a older PC>AMD 266 and use a dial up connection. My front line of defense is Avast virus protection, firewall(System Suite), AdWare which I run religiously and dont open attachments of questionable origin.Do those in the know consider this sufficient protection?Iam primarily a surfer but do use my machine for on-line purchases and to pay bills.
Thanxz for any and all insight.

I’m hoping a lot of people make a switch. Then the hackers will switch too
