I use Dir+++TV and an old VCR recorder --- the only problem is it's ever been that "IT'LL never record a Hold ballgame because of all the commercials ".

What do you guy's /gal's use as the best option ?

I use DVR through my Time Warner account. I have the DUAL version that allows to me watch one channel and record another or record two shows at one time. Then I fast forward through three minute commercials in about ten seconds.

Like Steve, I also use a DVR now. Before, I was using a VCR (and still do in a pinch). You should be able to tape up to 6 hours with one tape. How long are these games lasting? 6 hours should be plenty of time for one game.

    Ron,

I bought a Sony DVDDirect for that very purpose. It works great.

I'd really-really like to drop in a TV card in my PC and use a multi connector so I can record to my "mostly" un-used HD that has gig's to spare.
